is the place for you! We are a residential program for adjudicated youth, with the motto of helping today's youth find a new direction in life! We are seeking Group Leaders that will be working directly with preteen and teenage boys and girls in a residential setting.
Group Leaders are responsible for providing safe and effective direct client care services in accordance with individual client treatment plans and in conjunction with the structure of the treatment program to which they are assigned.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Provide direct supervision and management of client behavior in a consistent and equitable manner.
Provide clients with guidance and instruction in the performance of basic living skills.
Accompany and direct clients to all components of their treatment program; remain with clients as assigned by the Shift Leader and/or Director; adhere to the Weekly Planning Schedule.
Participate in vocational program assignments and activities with clients.
Participate in recreational activities with clients.
Accurately and thoroughly document all client activities per policy; documentation must be legible.
Assure that hand-off to next shift is complete with entries in permanent written log and verbal communication regarding routine and unusual events.
As a member of client treatment teams, participate in evaluation of client progress in the program.
Group Leader position minimum requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Moderate computer and writing skills Drug Free Willingness to work 12 hour shifts Benefits include:
